Opinions about Vanguardians
For over three years now
Vanguardians, led by Barry Allen, has been working tirelessly to increase
accountability of Glendale City Management, staff members, employees, and all
elected and appointed officials, including the members of the Glendale City
Council.
Every week Vanguardians
distributes over 5000 copies of its Vanguard Weekly Newsletter expounding upon
accountability, or non-accountability, on dozens of issues including the city
budget, salaries & benefits, overtime, Fire Department practices, union
contracts, closed session meetings, land
purchases, land &
other contributions to developers, campaign contributions, conflict of interest
issues, and on and on.
So it seems only fair that
the public have someplace to express their opinions regarding Vanguardians:

the Vanguardians Board of Directors? The
board members are not listed on the Vanguardians' web site. However, I believe the following is correct:

There are also those that wish not to be named for
fear of retaliation.
There is an advisory board and there are writers, contributors,
volunteers, insiders, and informants.
