Ara Najarian Comments on Rafi Manoukian's Hosting Vanguardian Community Forums

Glendale City Councilman Rafi Manoukian hosted the weekly Vanguardian Community Forum breakfast meetings on Thursdays, November 3^rd & 10^th, at Foxy's restaurant, 206 W. Colorado Blvd..

Glendale Police Captain Carl Povilaitis from the Field Services Division was the guest speaker at the November 3rd meeting regarding hiring processes and police department staffing. Steve Zurn, Director of Public Works, spoke about transportation funding and Beeline issues at the November 10^th meeting.

At the 11-08-2011 Glendale City Council meeting, Councilman Ara Najarian expressed his concerns about a member of the council hosting a meeting of a publication that has included libelous and slanderous remarks about city council members.
