Hal:
A beautiful lady was humiliated by this so called moral coward public
servant that couldn't even sign his name. This is down right character
assignation. This beautiful lady doesn't desrve
this. I have known Mrs. Weling many years via
GHCC, and she is an outstanding American, a lady of character and high ethical
standards. Certainly this public servant didn't speak for the department
head, Glenn Steiger. Really this should be
turned over to the City Attorney, Civil Service Committee and the City
Manager. Hopefully this is the last response letter that this so called
public servant will address? No doubt that Glenn Steiger
didn't see the return response or was consulted period on his reply. In our
world of high tech, there must be some technology out there that is
available when so called public servants cross the line as was the case in
this August 09 letter that was not signed to be caught, tried and
punished. For future unsigned letters, they should not be
published. I wouldn't have wasted my precious time in reading it had I
checked at the bottom to find out that it had not been signed. Somewhere
along the line from the City Manager, The GWP General Manager or even the Mayor
a letter to Mrs. Weiling should be made with sincere
apologies that the views of the content of that August 09 letter does not
reflect the policies of GWP or the City of Glendale, and please accept our
deepest and sincere apologies to you and your husband Judge Weling.
