Tuesday:
Glendale, like many other Cities, is drowning in red
ink, depleting our reserves. The
Expenditures have been exceeding the Revenues for the past 6 years. Just one aspect of those expenditures is the
cost of payroll and benefits including pensions. Out of the 2000 City employees, the top 592
received $80,000,000 in wages in 2008.

is an excellent resource to be able to see the numbers in an easy to understand
format. You are encouraged to read those

In this
election the major special interest groups – City Employee Unions – have
