Dear Glendale Voter,
You are receiving this email
because you have an important decision to make. This decision
will affect you, your family and your entire community for years to
come.
As we stand right now, we pay the second highest electric utility
rates in the State of California. We suffer increasing
traffic congestion and a decline of road safety. Our
schools face budget cutbacks and our libraries are at risk.
Why is this happening to Glendale? Simply put, our city
government has overspent and now cannot afford the most basic
services that citizens deserve. We must restore responsibility
to the City Council.
Bruce Philpott
is a former Police Chief with years of experience in city
finances. He is the only candidate with the qualifications,
integrity and experience needed to rescue Glendale from unsustainable spending.
