I have said before and I still say that
we need these cell towers in order for the areas not readily serviced by the
various cell phone companies.
It was mentioned in another complaint
about these towers that the cell companies should place these towers in areas
that are not habited by homes.
Well, it seems these towers should be
placed on public land, so what to do when everyone is NIMBY. Give the cell
phone companies a break! Things can't always be the same -- this is 2009 and
everyone has a cell phone. These towers are not like the old-fashioned
telephone poles which truly are an eyesore. Land lines may be extinct fairly
soon, who knows?
We live in a community that doesn't have
underground electric service nor underground phone
service, so live with it and stop complaining. Life changes, services change,
homes change, so what? Be glad you don't live in a country that doesn't
have anything!
